This photo shows two important things. First, I have marked the location of the splash well on the final transom beam so that I don’t do any reinforcement strips of roving that go up into that area (otherwise the deck will not snug up the my carefully measured transom). Second, I have filled in all voids around the transom with fairing compound. Then I’ll need to grind everything smooth before doing the final layers of woven roving on the transom.
